In a recent interview with Le Progrès, our CEO Inès Besbes discussed the rise of "workations," a blend of remote work and vacation time. Since the end of the pandemic, this approach has gained popularity, and at Seedext, we quickly adopted it to offer more flexibility to our team.

Inès explained that we implemented workations for our employees during key periods like the summer holidays and Christmas. "Our team uses these periods to ease off the pressure before taking time off or to ease back into work after their vacations," she said. This hybrid model supports a perfect balance between well-being and productivity.

At Seedext, we ensure that workations remain productive by structuring the day with specific routines. "Every morning at 9 AM and every evening at 6 PM, we hold a quick check-in to track project progress," Inès added. These regular touchpoints help keep the team aligned, no matter where they’re working from.

To make this process even smoother, we've integrated our AI-powered meeting transcription and summarization tool. This technology transcribes meetings in real-time and automatically generates summaries. Employees on workations can stay updated on important discussions and decisions without having to attend every meeting. This tool enhances productivity and keeps teams connected, regardless of location.

While workations offer a lot of flexibility, they’re not suited to every role. Positions that require high social interaction, for example, may not benefit as much from this setup. "At Seedext, we tailor this option to meet the specific needs of each team," Inès clarified.

Workations are particularly appealing to younger generations, and we’ve noticed an increase in candidates asking about this flexibility during interviews. Seedext meets this demand by combining technology and adaptability, providing a modern and high-performance work environment.
